Are you interested in singing with us? Springfield Chamber Chorus is hold formal auditions every summer. However, we also accept mid-year auditions any time. Formal auditions will take place on July 27th and August 3rd at the University Heights Baptist Church between 4pm and 6pm.
Audition Requirements:
- We will provide 2 selections for you to prepare. Pieces will be sung with members of Springfield Chamber Chorus.
- Resonet in Laudibus – Handel (all)
- Peace, Come Away – Stanford (ms. 1-29)
- Sight-reading: each audition will consist of a short sight-reading selection.
- Vocalizing: each audition will consist of vocalizations led by the Associate Artistic Director.
And that’s it! Each audition will last approximately 15 minutes. Successful auditions will be notified via email/text before the first rehearsal in August.
