To define community, we must first ask: what is it? Is it a group of people? A place? A feeling? Strong arguments can be made for each. One thing is certain—community is built on togetherness. It is the realization that, in what we do and who we are, we are not alone.
Springfield Chamber Chorus is thrilled to present our final concert of the season, “Communitas,” on Sunday, April 6th at 3:00 PM in The Atrium of First & Calvary Presbyterian Church. This free performance is part of the F&C Musical Offerings Series and invites audiences to reflect on the essence of community through a powerful and diverse musical program.
Featuring works by Beethoven, Hagenberg, Hildegard von Bingen, Runestad, and more, Communitas explores both the physical and philosophical aspects of what it means to belong. Through soaring harmonies, timeless texts, and evocative melodies, we will journey together in song—united by music, bound by shared experience.
Join us for this extraordinary afternoon of choral artistry, connection, and reflection. You won’t want to miss it!
